Service Writers are usually the first and last team member that customers talk to, you play a major role in determining Ellis Automotive Car Care Center's customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities are to deliver the best possible experience for a customer.

• Familiarity with database software used for entering customer information
• Organizational skills to keep track of multiple jobs and manage estimates and other paperwork

Responsibilities Include: 

• Promptly greeting customers who walk into the shop
• Listening to customers describe auto problems
• Asking follow-up questions to help diagnose issues
• Entering customer information into a database
• Track the progress of each job
• Compiling work estimates and communicating them to the customer
• Answering customers’ questions regarding the nature of repairs and their costs
• Billing the customer or accepting payment when the job is complete
